The reason for this post is to clear up the fact that the safety information is because this year's challenge is on transportation.

The wires for the NXT are like telephone jacks, with one difference: the snap-connector on top is to one side, not in the center, to prevent kids from connecting their robots to the telephone line.

Storm Guy, a.k.a. The Evil Rob Nungray

New Season

Welcome to a new FLL season! The challenge is "Smart Move". It is essentially mass transportation. We forgot to mention that there are robotics challenges. Basically, a robot has to do certain things on a rectangular table with a specially designed mat and some lego mission models. Another team has an identical board glued to ours on the long side opposite from base. The most puzzling mission model this year is the bridge: it seems to make it so that an object, our robot, for example, can go over it to the other side.

Tree Guy

I am just determined to save Houston from Storm Guy's wind, lightning, and rain; Hot Guy's Heat Islands and fires; and CO2 guy's Greenhouse Effect.

Hot Guy

I am determined to burn everyone to the ground and stop tree growth.  Maybe I will travel to California or to Rome, Italy or somewhere where there are no TREES.  I will have no mercy till my flame goes out.  I work alone (I took a break from Storm Guy because he kept putting out my fires) unless there is a HOT girl by my side (that changes everything!)

CO2 Guy

I am determined to fix my clumsiness, concentrate on the greenhouse effect, and choke everyone and kill plants and trees and give people heat stroke.

Storm Guy

I am determined to flood stuff, blow stuff down, and uproot Tree Guy.  My favorite place to go is the Atlantic Ocean. I like furry clothing because it gives me more static. 

Attack of the Weather Gods

Hot Guy, Storm Guy, and CO2 Guy start attacking Houston. A little later, Tree Guy appears! But how does he take care of them? If he knows a little science, easy! (Approx. 3:35)
